Gideon was a pretty insignificant person when God called him a “mighty man”. Not only that, but he also required a lot of reassurance that God wasn’t playing a trick on him. We discuss if his “making sure” was really putting God to the test (a sin), or if God used it to weed out all the disbelief within him. Also, God used a series of filters to ensure Gideon’s army stood no chance against the enormous force camped in the valley below them. Will they emerge victorious, despite insurmountable odds? Tune in to find out (or read your Bible…whatever).
